Avondale Film Festival

The Avondale Film Festival, organized by Avondale Development Corporation (ADC), is a film festival in the community of Avondale within Cincinnati, Ohio. The mission of this film festival is to provide a platform for filmmakers to express visual stories that reflects their perspective on the world. This film festival will also work to spotlight the talents of the black community of Avondale and Cincinnati. By gathering talented filmmakers in the city, we aim to display stories from all backgrounds and celebrate diversity.

The Avondale Development Corporation (ADC) is a non-profit organization for the neighborhood of Avondale in Cincinnati, Ohio. ADC directs the revitalization of Avondale by developing housing, real estate, and economic initiatives while working collaboratively with residents and partners to address priorities that promote the well-being of Avondale residents.


All categories will be for short films. Submissions must be 30 minutes or less. The following categories are:

Short Narrative (Cash Prize = $1000)

• Short Documentary (Cash Prize = $1000)

• STUDENT Short Narrative (Cash Prize = $500)

• STUDENT Short Documentary (Cash Prize = $500)
